Frank & Lettie Stevens – Roy’s Parents

No one could wish for better parents! This extrodinary couple have such an influence on all their children because what they teach, they live. Not only do they live a life that reflectes the Jesus they serve but they pointed all their children to this wonderful truth and life. Lives that have been challenged and effected by this couple extendes far beyond the family circle, to work Colleagues, friends, family, employees and domestic workers. Dad & Mom, you’re the greatest! Dad turned 85 in August this year – mom is close on his heals and turns 85 in March 2012.

Olive van Rensburg.

This is Mandy’s mom, Olive van Rensburg, with Mandy’s brother, Freddie in 1951. She died in 1965 shortly after giving birth to Mandy’s sister, Karen. Check Karen’s photo and see the likeness between mom and daughter.

Cornelius van Rensburg

This is Mandy’s dad, Cornelius van Rensburg. (Not a very good photo but all Mandy had of her dad). After Mandy’s moms death, her dad, in his broken and hurting state, turned to alcohol and soon abandoned the children. We found him again in 1977 and Mandy’s relationship with her dad was restored. He however died four years later.
